Collection III

With the style characterized by Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio already well established by the 233 works of the previous collections, Collection III takes the listener a step further into this fascinating sonic world. Over 30 different sequences and numbers having to do with the golden ratio and Fibonacci numbers are used; these sequences and numbers are rendered musically using several different methods, some of which are new to the style. Collection III was written during a period of great compositional growth. In November 2005, a JavaScript program named Maatraameru was written which made greater precision in the setting of loudness and simulated spatial location possible. The first work written with the aid of this program was B326.
